Honey Storage and Precautions
● Add honey to lukewarm water/ milk or any foods. Adding honey to hot foods can destroy it's nutritional properties and enzymes.
● Honey shouldn’t be mixed with rainwater, spicy foods, and fermented beverages like whiskey, rum, and brandy.
● Store honey in glass containers only and not in metallic containers.
● Do not give honey to infants under 12 months to avoid the risk of botulism (a type of bacterial food poisoning). Honey can contain dormant endospores that may be cause illness to infants
