The making of our pure desi cow ghee

The making of our pure desi cow ghee

In a world that moves faster every day, some things are worth slowing down for. Like Bilona Ghee.

At Indic Roots, our Bilona Hand-Churned Desi Ghee is made the way it always was - carefully, slowly, and with love. Because good ghee isn’t just food. It’s tradition, it’s care, it’s a little bit of home in every spoon.

The journey from milk to ghee

It starts with organic milk from free-range cows, grazing naturally and full of goodness.

The milk rests for 12–18 hours, naturally turning into cultured curd, letting the flavours and aroma deepen.

Then comes the hand-churning, slow and careful, using the traditional Bilona method, extracting soft and fresh butter.

Finally, the butter is slow-boiled to perfection, transforming it into golden, aromatic ghee that’s pure, natural, and untouched.

Every jar carries care, time, and love.

More than ghee, a story of care

Our Desi Ghee isn’t just food. It’s a reminder that some things are worth waiting for. That care matters. That patience pays off.

Every spoon carries that story. Every meal becomes a little more comforting, a little more real.

It’s in the rich aroma that fills your kitchen when it melts. It’s in the comfort of a simple meal made extraordinary, a spoon over khichdi, dal, rotis, or rice. It’s in knowing that something this simple was made the right way.

No preservatives. No adulteration. Just pure, honest ghee.
